As the Professional Body for Music Therapists in the UK, the APMT is able to advise on all issues relating to the successful setting up of posts of all levels and the recruitment of music therapists. Advice is available on appropriate terms and conditions of employment in a variety of work areas including the NHS, Education and Charitable sectors. A leaflet for new potential employers who are considering setting up music therapy work which gives more detailed information is available from the APMT office. The APMT office can signpost music therapists to expertise in specific areas.
